Both brands make multi-layer protective cases. GALADO’s ProGuard layers a non-yellowing hard back, a TPU bumper with hundreds of air bubbles and an extra shock-absorbing inner TPE layer, with raised edges around the camera and screen. Its product pages rate it for drops of up to 6.6 feet (2 metres). Casetify says its iPhone 18 Pro Max cases offer up to 32 feet of drop protection (its own listing, as of 25 October 2026). Each number comes from the brand’s own testing, so compare the build and the raised edges, not only the headline figure.

The two brands take different routes. GALADO’s custom drawing cases are drawn by hand from your photo: Korean Me and Chibi Me are drawn by partner artist CYMM.studio, fit up to six people in one drawing, and ship in 3 to 10 days, printed on a ProGuard case (RM149). Other styles include Pop Me, Doodle Me, Line Art and Mermaid Me. If you would rather design it yourself, GALADO Studio (RM169) lets you upload photos, add words in ten lettering styles and place stickers, with a live preview before checkout. • Global collaborations: if you want a design from one of Casetify’s global fashion or music collaborations, only Casetify has it.
• The brand itself: if the person you are buying for specifically wants “a Casetify case”, the name matters.
• A bigger drop number on paper: Casetify says up to 32ft on its iPhone 18 Pro Max cases.
