Founded in 2015 in Penang, Malaysia, GALADO is a homegrown phone accessories brand specialising in handcrafted phone charms, premium protective cases, and personalised accessories. Over the past 11 years, we’ve shipped more than 34,000 orders to customers across Malaysia and Singapore.
Our Story
GALADO started in 2015 with a simple belief: your phone deserves more than a generic case from the mall. Founded by Clement Chau in Bayan Lepas, Penang, we began by designing protective iPhone cases that were both beautiful and functional.
In 2024, we expanded into handcrafted phone charms — and they quickly became our bestselling category. Today, 9 out of our 10 top-selling products are charms, each one hand-assembled on stainless steel wire with premium crystals, 18K gold accents, and materials you won’t find anywhere else in Malaysia.
We work with over 25 local Malaysian artists through a revenue-sharing collaboration model, turning their art into phone cases that customers love. We’ve also partnered with Pos Malaysia for limited-edition collections, and developed our own proprietary crystal line — GALOURA — featuring synthetic gemstones rated at Mohs hardness 8-8.5.
